Instructional Training Module Video Presentation

Final CB Design & Associates Instructional Module Presentation for: Marcey Telcom
This is the final draft of the fictional CB Design & Associates Instructional Module Presentation for the fictional sponsor, Marcey Telcom. It was created in the final week of my fifth class in Full Sail University's Instructional Design & Technology Master of Science program, which is the Instructional Design and Evaluation course. The most challenging aspects of this project were ensuring that the lighting was excellent while filming the narration, making sure that the narration was done with minimal mistakes, and that the audio quality was good for the narration as well. Our class really did a phenomenal job with working together as a team to combine all of the media design elements, such as digital film/video, audio, illustration, graphic design, animation, and gaming. As a result, this mock presentation really turned out to be an excellent example of teamwork.

This is an after screenshot of the Multiplatform Video Game part of the presentation. In the final draft, it shows an animated character holding the animated mobile phone, in order to better represent Marcey Telcom employees playing the mobile game for training on learning phonetic code.

This is a before screenshot of the part of the video showing the Multiplatform Video Game. In this first draft, only the mobile phone animation is shown on the screen to represent the mobile game that the Marcey Telcom employees would be able to play as part of the training for learning phonetic code.

In this final draft, the graphic at the top center that was originally a telephone graphic was replaced with a new version of the Marcey Telcom logo that had a blue telephone handset instead of the original green one.

This is an after screenshot of a part of the video showing the Rapid Prototyping instructional design model. Here in the final draft, the spelling of the title was corrected, the steps were changed to correctly reflect the model, and the background of the screen was changed to blue in order to match the background of other aspects of the video.

This is a before screenshot of a part of the video showing the Rapid Prototyping instructional design model, which was used as a part of our fictional presentation for the CB Design & Associates Training Module video. In the first draft stage of the video, the title was misspelled, the steps were incorrect and belonged to a different model, and the background of the screen was charcoal grey.

This is an after screenshot showing me moved over to the right of the screen against the office background, in order to make it seem as if I was actually narrating from an office setting. This is how I am seen throughout the video in the final draft.

This is a before screenshot of the green-screen background that I filmed my narration against for the purpose of allowing my classmates to place this office image in the background of our group video project for the CB Design & Associates Training Module Presentation. I was also in the center of the screen, which would later be changed by the member of our group doing the editing. This was in the first draft stage of the development process.
